From a historical perspective, people have been manicuring their nails for over 4,000 years. Babylonian noblemen gave themselves manicures and according to the ancient Chinese, nail colour indicated social status. During the Ming Dynasty royal nails were painted red and black. Cleopatra painted her nails a deep red. A manicure is a relaxing way to beautify your hands.
Someone once calculated that the average person walks the equivalent of four times around the world in their lifetime. Your feet carry you all day long. A relaxing pedicure can sooth your feet and prevent nail diseases (Athlete's Foot, fungus and ingrown toenails). Manicures and pedicures are relaxing and result in beautifully groomed hands and feet.
Groups of four can enjoy a 'pedi-party' - a perfect way to relax and reconnect at the same time. Private pedicure rooms are also available.
All manicures include a warm, mineral hand soak. Cuticles and nails are treated and shaped. Hands and forearms are massaged with a beautiful exfoliant followed by a hydrating massage lotion. The manicure is completed with your choice of polish.

HOT OIL MANICURE
Deeply nourishing oil treatment for dry hands. A Canadian winter must-have. (60 minutes?)
CLASSIC PEDICURE
All of our pedicures include full cuticle work, callus removal, trimming, shaping, buffing, polishing, exfoliation, as well as relaxing lower leg and foot massage, and finished with a polish colour of your choice. (60 minutes)
MEDICAL PEDICURE
Our therapists are trained to identify and treat numerous foot and nail ailments. At Esthetica, we use and recommend a medical-grade product called FOOTLOGIX Pediceutical product line with Dermal Integration Technology. We would recommend this service to those who suffer from foot fungus, cracked skin, diabetic feet, etc. (75 minutes)
SPA MANICURE / PEDICURE
Spa manicure features a rich paraffin treatment applied to the hands/feet to lock in moisture.
FRENCH MANICURE / PEDICURE
We follow the natural curve of your nail, accentuating the shape with polish, while the rest of the nail is left with a subtle sheer glaze.
HOT STONE MANICURE / PEDICURE
This Manicure / Pedicure utilizes hot basalt stones to provide a deeply relaxing experience as your esthetician massages your hands / feet and lower legs.
SHELLAC MANICURE / PEDICURE
For increased durability a gel polish is applied over the nail bed then cured using an LED light. This service leaves you with instantly dry nails.
